About the role

At Funkit, we design memorable short-term rental properties across the U.S. We’re looking for a Design Curator with a strong eye for distinctive pieces that bring a creative vision to life.

You’ll work closely with the Creative Lead to source furniture, wallpaper, décor, and standout elements for interior and exterior spaces. Your focus will be on the selections that give a property character, create visual impact, and make the guest experience more memorable.

What you’ll do

Translate the Creative Lead’s vision into thoughtful, actionable product selections.
Source standout pieces for interior and exterior spaces, from statement furniture and lighting to wallpaper, art, and outdoor décor.
Help designers move projects forward by providing clear recommendations, product links, and alternatives.
Consider budget, availability, functionality, and suitability for short-term rental use.
Collaborate with the Creative Lead and designers to keep selections cohesive across the property.

What we’re looking for

A strong eye for design, composition, color, and material combinations.
The ability to curate distinctive pieces that support a clear concept.
Strong sourcing skills and attention to product details.
An organized, collaborative approach and the ability to work efficiently across multiple projects.
Confidence explaining why a selection fits the vision and enhances the guest experience.

This role focuses on curating key pieces and design moments within each project, rather than furnishing every space from start to finish.

The logistics

3-month contract for now, with the possibility of continuing afterward depending on performance, workload, and team needs. We’re not presenting this as a guaranteed permanent position.
Fully remote.
